I am a licensed clinical social worker, psychotherapist, spiritual coach and counselor. I have taught yoga, applied reiki, and guided still and moving meditations. I have been honored to support many through some of the most significant transitions in their lives. After a decade as a hospital clinician, I started Fire Moon Medicines with the intention of integrating my training and experience in Western psychology with my education, knowledge, and passion for alternative, indigenous, and ancestral healing. I am especially drawn to the beginning and end of life, and the incredible privilege it is to be welcomed to hold space during these times.
The offerings you see here are the culmination of many years and many lifetimes immersed in the healing arts. I have been ever so fortunate to have encountered my own healers, teachers, and guides, who have helped me hone the skills to cultivate and nurture sacred space. This provides the foundation and the room needed for true healing to occur, because just as space may be literal as well as figurative, healing does not occur only in the material realm, but in the abstract, on a spiritual level. I have witnessed firsthand the incorporation of mind and body into today’s conventional healing methods, however, modern medicine is often practiced in a way that has neglected the essence of our tangible selves- the soul, or Spirit. In creating sacred space within ourselves, we recognize ourselves as more than just a human body and a human mind. This is the space from which we can truly heal and grow, and this is the basis of my practice and services.
