We gather again to celebrate the New Moon in Libra, and to journey with the Spirit of Kava Kava, a plant traditionally used in the Pacific Islands to cultivate peacemaking, partnership, and social engagement (all Libra qualities!), as well as healing and opening of the physical and energetic bodies. Kava Kava is a psychoactive plant that is subtle enough that it will not impair mental clarity, judgement, or your ability to participate in activities such as driving or working on daily tasks. However, Kava Kava is also powerful enough to calm your nervous system, promote relaxation, calming, and awakening of your intuition or Ajna chakra (the third eye). A soundbath with crystal alchemy bowls, century-old Tibetan singing bowls, and elemental chimes will further heighten our capacity to release tension and stress.
